La Vie Restaurant
La Vie is the restaurant of La Villa Hotel and is open to our guests for dinner every day during the season. Dinner is served either indoors in our cosy upstairs dining room or outside in the courtyard under the stars, making La Vie the perfect location for romantic meals and special occasions.
Our award-winning Chef, Ian Simpson, believes in offering the best produce that Piemonte has to offer. This is his fifth year heading La Villa’s restaurant, having previously worked at the highest level in classic and modern kitchens across Europe, alongside chefs such as Albert Roux and Gordon Ramsay.
Our Chef runs a range of Italian cooking classes to suit every level and interest, allowing you to learn a few top tricks of the trade from some of the best kitchens in Europe.
Our Wine Cellar
La Villa has an extensive cellar of more than 5,000 Piemontese wines to suit every season, occasion and budget. We love the wines of this area and have made it our mission to showcase the local producers as well as the local grape varietals.
Alongside cooking, learning about the local wines is the most popular activity at La Villa. Nicola, the owner, hosts the tastings, bringing her extensive knowledge of the region’s wines to offer tailored classes for her guests.
Having first studied wine with WSET in the UK, Nicola’s real knowledge of the region’s wine comes from the time spent with local producers in their cellars.
